The intriguing pink city of Jaipur

I went to Jaipur for the first time and I enjoyed gaining knowledge about the city by visiting Jaipur’s famous historical monuments. I was happy when we drove past the streets of Johari Bazaar to see the city clean without any rubbish thrown anywhere. We went to Albert Hall museum in the evening. Albert Hall Museum is famous for the Mummy that is kept in the museum.

The Ramayan Shield.

Albert museum has old pots, Gandhiji’s newspaper, weapons like dagger, shields, axe and sword.

The best part of Jaipur was the  light and sound show at Amer fort.

We could not unfortunately take a picture of the Amber sound and light show so I thought of posting this video.

I loved the interior architecture of the Amer fort.

magical mirror

Sheesh Mahal magical mirror.

The best part of the mirror was that if u stand few meters behind facing the mirror it becomes a portrait.  This was something so different that I saw for the first time during all the holidays that I have gone for.

We also saw Hawa Mahal and Jal Mahal from outside as visitors are not allowed to enter.

 Food and Dining

When it comes to food and dining we went to Lmb ( Laxmi Misthan Bhandar).  I loved the chat raj kachori and papdi chaat.  On the way to the airport we went to Home Cafe by Mr Bean.
